Landscape design by Clare incorporates a large, raised bed kitchen garden, and a small orchard has been planted.  Three conservation ponds, linked by a new boundary ditch provide a good habitat for wildlife, and much of the site has been putdown to wild meadow grasses, with only the central courtyard garden bound by the house, office and workshop formally planted, and with a rectilinear flowing water feature.
