Peter has taken a keen interest in local RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) affairs for many years and has twice been elected chairman of Wessex Region, comprising Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Bristol and Bath Branches, as well as holding various offices in the Wiltshire Branch. He is currently treasurer of the Wiltshire Branch.

Peter is an Associate Member of the Royal Society for Public Health, having undertaken the necessary Diploma ot gain this membership. Using his training in Construction Health and Safety he undertakes the role of CDM Coordinator under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007, primarily on projects where he is also the Architect, but occasionally on other projects for established clients.

The practice is a member of WessexDesignHouse, a group of building professionals based around Wiltshire and North Somerset including Architects, planning consultants, Quantity Surveyors, Structural Engineers, Interior Designers, Specialist Design/Builders Surveyors and Architectural Technologists. While we are all individual sole practitioners or small practices, we are able to support each other and offer a 'joined up' service to clients on various projects. Clients employ each member individually, and each member carries its own Professional Indemnity Insurance, and abides by the code of conduct of its own professional organisation.

Peter is a member of The Green Register of construction professionals, a group of designers and builders committed to sustainability, with membership restricted to those who have undertaken a course in green design run by the organisation.
